Promotion Ranks
Officers have proven themselves amongst many Commanders, taking the initiative in the absence of orders and earning the respect and confidence of seniors and their peers alike. Trainee Position
Learner is the intitial Rank for new Members in the XSF
Officer Position
Aviator, Lieutenant and Captain are our Officer Ranks in the promotion-ladder
Leadership Position
Major, Colonel and General Staff are our Leadership and Staff
Officer Responsibilities
Officer Responsibilities are delegated to junior Officers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and foster leadership opportunities for willing Commanders. By assigning tasks to the lowest appropriate levels, the community as a whole remains engaged. Senior officers focus on administrative and strategic duties, while junior Officers and Learners manage practical tasks, helping them grow as leaders and contribute to the community.

Learner
- Entry Rank into the Community of which has executed a Cyclops Interceptor to the AXI Standard for “Apollo’s Wrath”
- Learner holds no officer position and is considered a trainee rank
- Learners must coordinate with a Lieutenant prior to participating in Official Operation Orders to ensure the Leaner is prepared. Must be supervised by a Lieutenant during the Operation. If a Lieutenant is unavailable, go to the next rank higher
- Learners study the tactics, Knowledge Proficiencies and Promotion Requirements of the Xeno Strike Force prior to advancing in rank
Aviator
- Xeno Strike Force Officer position
- Promotion to this rank after succesful Rank submission in ‘#apply-for-ranks’ with all Requirements met
- Aviators have priority for Operation Orders
Expected to be in Uniform whenever possible - Able to ‘sponsor’ a new Member and directly invite them to the XSF Discord Server
Expected to help their ‘sponsee’ and be responsible for them until they participated in 3 Operations
Lieutenant
- Experienced Officer with focus on teaching and wing positioning
- Line of succession to lead the wing once the Captain is out of the fight for any reason
- Assists any Learners present in Official Operations and ensures they are prepared prior to joining Official Operations
- Authorized full use of the ‘/listrole‘ and ‘/experience‘ commands to further assist newer players
Captain
- Senior Officer and will help any new Members acclimate to the XSF
- Considered subject matter experts on AX topics, they are the equivalent to the AXI Mentor-program in knowledge
- Leads a Tactical Wing, consisting of one Wing of four pilots including the Captain
- Proctors the verbal Knowledge Proficiency test for potential Aviators
- Proctors the Aviator Promotion Challenge
- Authorized use of the ‘/opord participant‘ command to log experience credit of official operations
Major
- Considered XSF Leadership and is appointed by General Staff
- Responsible for one Assault Group consisting of a number of Tactical Wings
- Approves or Denies Operation Order requests
- Reviews the Lieutenant Promotion Challenge
- Proctors the verbal Knowledge Proficiency test for potential Lieutenants
Colonel
- Considered XSF Leadership and is appointed by General Staff
- Responsible for their Strike Group, consisting of Assault Groups, consisting of Tactical Wings, totaling 19* Commanders
- Approves or Denies Operation Order requests
- Reviews the Captain Promotion Challenge
- Proctors the verbal Knowledge Proficiency test for potential Captains
General Staff
- The Overseers of the Community
- Rank Appointment Authority
- Conducts all Leadership Assessments.
Wing Combat Ranks
We offer a selection of Challenges for cooperative gameplay in a Wing.
These Ranks have some perks attached to them, for example;
- Discord embed permissions, Discord name-colors
- Eligability for in-game Squadron membership
This rank will grant you embed permissions in our discord, in addition to access to our in-game squadron.

- Must be in a Wing with atleast one other Commander
- Atleast one Wingmate must be visible on the Radar-Scanner or Screen
Detailed requirements: Full sabotage of the site requires sabotaging all eight hybrid compound bins. Individual CMDRs must survive beginning to end (end = in a ship supercruising away from the planet) to be eligible for this rank. Should a CMDR die, they are allowed to come back to help their wing, but are no longer individually eligible for the rank in that run (the surviving wing mates still are.) Leaving the instance to rearm or switch ships is not allowed. Dismissing and recalling ships is allowed.

Individual Proficiency Ranks
We honor the ranks of the Anti-Xeno Initiative with regards to individual combat experience and progression.
All Ranks on the Progression-Path are recognized. There are 3 important Milestones we value significantly,
they can be self-selected at any time via the Channels & Roles Menu at the top of our Discord:
- Apollos Wrath – First proper solo Kill
- Collector – Seen them all, done them all
- Decent Pilot – AX Combat Mastery
Duty Status
We have three duty status roles, which can be self-selected and changed at any time via the Channels & Roles Menu at the top of our Discord:
- Active Duty: “Ping, and I shall answer the call whenever I can”
- Reserve Duty: “Keep me posted, but don’t bugger me too much”
- Honorably Discharged: “I’ve uninstalled, don’t bother me about in-game events”
